frequently asked questions:

How do I sign up for a class?

Each class is designed for actors at similar acting levels. Contact me and we will set up a call or a face-to-face meeting to talk more about where you're at in your career and what you'd like to achieve in class. This helps me determine which class environment will best help you advance your skills.

What Acting Method do you Teach?

Many other institutions concentrate on a specific acting technique. I strive to teach actors how to be as authentic and real as possible in the classroom and in performance by implementing various techniques catered to the individual. Every actor has their own approach to their work, and so some techniques do not necessarily work for all. It’s about taking what you’ve already learned and building upon it, opening you up to new approaches along the way.

Can I Audit a Class?

I frequently offer complimentary classes, where actors interested in studying with me can come and work on materials assigned to them in advance, just like a typical class. Those classes will be listed on Backstage.com or here on my News page. Check back frequently for new dates. If you are unable to attend a complimentary class, reach out, and we can schedule a time for you to come in and sit in on a class.

Can I take more than one class?

Yes! Many students choose to take multiple classes per week. The price is discounted when you attend multiple classes; the price for 2 classes per week is $600/mo, and 3 classes per week is $750/mo.

What if I miss a class?

I understand that life is hectic, and sometimes things come up, however it is imperative that you make every effort to be in class, even if it is just a partial class. Scene study classes in particular are reliant on partner work, and your partner loses out on an opportunity to work if you are not there. Therefore, I do not offer refunds, pro-rated, or make-up classes. The only exception is if you need to miss class for acting work, whether that be an audition, a day on set, or rehearsal for other projects. If that is the case, each student is allowed 1 make up class each month.

I took some time off from class. Can I come back?

Absolutely! I make every effort to make room for students that wish to come back and study. If classes are full, I will keep in touch when a spot opens!

How do you Accept Payment?

Payments can be made in a number of ways. I can accept cash, checks, PayPal, Google Pay, or Chase Quick Pay. Payments are due at the beginning of each month of class.
